The Turtle Nest - Terms & Conditions
1. About The Turtle Nest
The Turtle Nest is a private outdoor wellness space operated by Blue Turtle Physiotherapy & Wellness Clinic and is available for hire by independent wellness practitioners for classes, workshops and wellbeing events.
By booking The Turtle Nest, the practitioner agrees to these Terms & Conditions.
2. Practitioner Responsibility
The practitioner is responsible for:
* Delivering their class, workshop or event safely and professionally.
* Ensuring they have the appropriate qualifications and experience.
* Holding appropriate public liability insurance.
* Managing their own participants, bookings and payments.
* Providing any specialist equipment required for their activity.
* Carrying out any necessary risk assessment.
* Ensuring their activity is suitable for the venue and agreed in advance.
The practitioner is an independent business and is not an employee or representative of Blue Turtle Physiotherapy & Wellness Clinic.
3. Venue Capacity
The maximum capacity of The Turtle Nest is 8–10 participants, depending on the activity.
Practitioners must not exceed the agreed maximum number of participants without prior approval.
4. Booking & Payment
Current venue hire prices are:
* 60 minutes: £25
* 90 minutes: £35
* Half day: £85
* Full day: £160
* Weekly block – 4 x 60-minute sessions: £90
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation by The Turtle Nest.
Payment must be made by the agreed payment date to secure the booking.
The Turtle Nest reserves the right to decline a booking or activity that is considered unsuitable for the venue.
5. Cancellation
Cancellations with at least 48 hours’ notice can be transferred to an alternative available date. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
Cancellations made with less than the required notice may be charged at the full booking rate.
Regular block bookings may be subject to separate cancellation arrangements.
6. Weather & Outdoor Conditions
As The Turtle Nest is an outdoor venue, sessions may occasionally be affected by weather or unsafe conditions.
The Turtle Nest reserves the right to cancel or rearrange a session where weather conditions make the venue unsafe.
Where possible, an alternative date will be offered.
Practitioners should also consider the suitability of their activity for the weather conditions and ensure participants are appropriately informed.
7. Health & Safety
Practitioners must ensure that their activities are delivered safely and must notify The Turtle Nest of any specific risks or requirements relating to their session.
Any accidents, injuries, damage or safety concerns must be reported to The Turtle Nest as soon as possible.
A first aid kit will be available at the venue. Practitioners remain responsible for managing incidents arising from their own activities.
8. Insurance
Practitioners must hold appropriate insurance for the activity they are providing.
Evidence of insurance may be requested before a booking is confirmed.
The Turtle Nest reserves the right to refuse a booking if appropriate insurance cannot be provided.
9. Care of the Venue
Practitioners and their participants must:
* Respect the property and surrounding environment.
* Leave the space clean and tidy.
* Remove any rubbish after their session.
* Return equipment to its agreed location.
* Report any damage immediately.
* Ensure that participants behave respectfully.
* Follow any parking and access instructions provided.
The practitioner may be responsible for reasonable costs resulting from damage caused by them or their participants.
10. Location Privacy
The Turtle Nest is a private venue.
The exact address and location must not be publicly advertised or shared online, including on:
* Social media
* Websites
* Facebook groups
* Event listings
* Booking platforms
* Public advertisements
The location may only be provided directly to confirmed participants who have booked onto the practitioner’s event.
Practitioners may promote The Turtle Nest by name, but must not disclose the exact address or location.
11. Marketing
With permission, The Turtle Nest may promote practitioners and their events through Blue Turtle Physiotherapy/The Turtle Nest social media, website or other marketing channels.
Practitioners are welcome to promote their own events but must follow the location privacy requirements above.
Any use of The Turtle Nest’s photographs, branding or promotional material should be agreed in advance.
12. Participants
The practitioner is responsible for communicating relevant information to their participants, including:
* What to bring
* Appropriate clothing/equipment
* Weather considerations
* Arrival instructions
* Any health or participation requirements
The practitioner must ensure that their activity is appropriate for the participants attending.
13. Parking & Access
Parking is limited and practitioners must ensure that participants follow the parking instructions provided by The Turtle Nest.
Participants must not obstruct neighbouring properties, access routes or emergency access.
14. Prohibited Activities
Activities must be agreed with The Turtle Nest before booking.
The venue must not be used for activities that are illegal, unsafe, excessively noisy, or likely to cause damage to the property or surrounding environment.
15. Blue Turtle Physiotherapy & Wellness Clinic
The Turtle Nest is operated by Blue Turtle Physiotherapy & Wellness Clinic; however, practitioners hiring the space remain independent businesses.
The hiring of the venue does not mean that Blue Turtle Physiotherapy & Wellness Clinic is responsible for the practitioner’s services, advice, classes or treatment.
16. Agreement
By signing the Practitioner Booking Form or confirming a booking, the practitioner confirms that they:
* Have read and understood these Terms & Conditions.
* Agree to comply with the venue rules.
* Hold appropriate qualifications and insurance.
* Accept responsibility for their own activities and participants.
* Agree to keep the location of The Turtle Nest private.
* Agree to the booking, payment and cancellation terms.
